Salka Tiziana, born on May 22nd in 1992, is a spanish-german filmmaker. After graduating from high school in Barcelona, she studied Art History and Anthropology in Berlin and Filmmaking in Hamburg and Buenos Aires. During her studies at HFBK Academy of fine Arts Hamburg she made her first feature film FOR THE TIME BEING (DE, ES 2020), selected a.o.for IFF Rotterdam’s Bright Future Competition and released on MUBI.
Her latest work ALL SOUNDS WITHIN (DE, ES 2022) premiered at EntreVues Belfort in France and continues on view in 2025 at the Werkleitz Festival, Cinemateca de Bogotá, Artyčok.TV and tënk.

Salka is alumna of Berlinale Talents, member of the European Film Academy and current recipient of the Berlin Senate Work Stipend for Moving Image Artists. Together with Hannah Schwarz and Tom Otte she founded the film production company FAUST.
